If you establish a nighttime routine it will benefit both you and your baby! Start with a nice warm bottle. Followed by a soothing bath, apply lotion or an oil of your choice and massage baby with nice long, loving strokes. What is infant Massage?
Infant massage is the process of learning baby cues and bonding with your baby while gently rubbing or stroking your child’s muscles in a manner specifically designed to soothe, relax or stimulate.
How can massage help my baby?
Massage can help with improving infant/ child bonding, immunity, congestion, teething, asthma, colic, healing of certain skin disorders, such as rashes, and decrease pain in certain cases.
Can massage help baby sleep through the night?
Massaging your baby can be very effective for helping them sleep deeper and for a longer stretch of time. If your baby is sleeping that means YOU will be able to get some sleep as well!
How regularly should I massage my baby?
You can massage a baby as often as you would like. We recommend doing it daily at night time and or bedtime.
